Find your size at home
All you need is a soft tape measure. Two measurements give you a starting size, and the notes below help you adjust from there.
- 1
Underbust
Wear a bra without padding. Wrap a soft tape measure around your ribcage, directly under your bust. Keep it level and snug, then breathe out and read the number in centimetres.
- 2
Bust
Stand relaxed and wrap the tape around the fullest part of your bust and across your back. Keep it level and not tight.
- 3
Compare
The band size comes from your underbust, rounded to the nearest 5 cm. The cup comes from the difference between bust and underbust: about 2 cm per cup step.
Signs the fit is off
- The band rides up your back: go down a band size and up a cup.
- The straps dig in: the band is probably too loose and doing too little of the work.
- Breast tissue spills over the cup: try one cup larger.
- The gap in the cup: try one cup smaller.
